SOCIAL

You’re invited

We call it the Sunday Sunday Social.

It’s an hour every other week to connect with likeminded creatives during April and May. This is for you if you’re a photographer, content creator, artist, small business owner — creatives! It’s also for you if you wouldn’t call yourself a creative yet, but you’re curious on how to start.

Every time we meet, we’ll host a chat with someone who has done it before, you’ll get some insight, and we’ll all have a chance to connect with each other.

Why join us:

  • Take away valuable insight from creatives who have started businesses from scratch.

  • Learn from creatives who are growing their businesses.

  • Get comfortable with legal and tax rules.

  • Connect with likeminded creatives. Are you a content creator looking for a videographer? You’ll find your person here.

You know us, we’re laid back and happy to help. Come check out the space, make new friends, and enjoy some bubbly!

I’m so excited to meet you at Sunday Sunday.

psst. We’re using an imperfect RSVP system that thinks you’re booking for a class, but you’re really booking to let me know when you’ll join our social. It’s not a class, it’s our social!

How to start — Friday April 11 5-6pm
Nikita KH Photography will talk about starting a creative business. Not the legal stuff, but how to start one on your own terms in an approachable, human way. Nikita is a mom of two and works a full time job. Photography is her side hustle.

How to grow — Friday April 25 5-6pm
Fefe Flores Photography will talk about growing a creative business as a business — streamlining operations, managing a team, and using automation. Fefe is a mom of two and photography is her full time work.

Taxes and rules — Friday May 9, 5-6pm
Kimberley from MNP will talk about the legal side of things. What you need to know when you’re starting out, things to look out for as you grow, and the horror stories we don’t need to worry about. Kimberley is a senior business advisor.
